Meet the slp
Hi! I’m Cheryl, and I am dedicated to providing a friendly and engaging therapeutic environment. I focus my practice on family-centered and evidence-based care. I believe all children deserve to be given the tools to express themselves, embrace their unique challenges and strengths, and to be understood and accepted by their communities. I work directly with you, as caregivers, to help you feel empowered to be part of your child’s care and growth.
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 18 years experience in a variety of pediatric settings including early intervention, private practice and public schools. I strongly believe in play-based early intervention, and that all children can learn new and important skills, including my youngest clients.
I have also completed training in Orton-Gillingham and work with students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and language-based learning disabilities supporting executive functioning, phonology, and language.
Outside of the office, I love spending time with my family, relaxing on the beach, gardening, and having coffee on my porch.
